Heather + Mike
We were fortunate enough to spend four full days with Heather and Mike in Iceland! We got up early, stayed up late, and stayed in three different Airbnbs together. We still can't even begin to express how fortunate we feel to have shared this experience with them!
On our first day together, we drove from Reykjavik to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The weather was gloomy and rainy, but that didn't stop us from hiking and exploring a little bit. That night, we stayed in the cutest little red house in Borgarnes.
On our second day together, Heather and Mike got married at the Black Church in Budir! Check out the link below to see the photos from their wedding day.
The next morning, we drove down the South coast of Iceland. We stayed at another adorable Airbnb cabin in the middle of nowhere outside of Hella. The property had friendly horses and we spent a lot of time feeding and petting them. We then continued down toward Vik, stopping in the most stunning lupine field and at a couple of caves. That evening, we cooked spaghetti for dinner in our cabin.
On our final day, we drove back to Reykjavik in time for their tattoo appointments at Icelandic Tattoo Corps. They each got Icelandic staves done by Habba Nero. Then we walked to the Old Reykjavik Graveyard to take photos of their new tattoos.
