Brandi + Dusty
We met Brandi and Dusty only a few weeks before they eloped in Rocky Mountain National Park. They were so eager to get married and start planning their family, that they planned their entire wedding in just over a month. Dusty grew up coming to Colorado, so when Brandi suggested eloping in the mountains, it seemed right.
They planned a week-long wedding adventure. They drove to Colorado from Kansas City and camped in their rooftop tent. They cooked their meals on the campfire and spent time exploring together. The day before their elopement, they found their own secluded ceremony location with the most incredible views of the nearby mountains.
On the morning of Brandi and Dusty’s elopement, we met them in Grand Lake. Brandi got ready in a salon while Dusty got ready at their campsite. They had their first look right next to the edge of the lake. We then took a short hike to a waterfall, before driving to their ceremony spot. We hiked up a steep trail until we finally emerged from the trees to the most awe-inspiring view. Brandi and Dusty exchanged vows and then we continued our adventure deeper into the mountains.
By then, the weather was getting a bit crazy, we drove through sunshine, then rain, then hail, and then some more rain. We ended the evening at their campsite where Brandi and Dusty set up their rooftop tent for the night and roasted some s’mores together.
Brandi and Dusty proved to us that elopements don't require months and months of planning to be perfect.
