  • Halfway House is one of our favorite places to have a small wedding in the Boulder area. It sits on Flagstaff, right above the CU campus and Chautauqua Park. There is a deck patio with beautiful views of a meadow and the Flatirons in the background. While the space allows 49 attendees, we recommend aiming for 30 or less as more may feel a bit tight. And after your ceremony, there are many nearby trails to explore, just be sure your photographer has an OSMP photography permit!

Sunrise Amphitheater - near Boulder

  • Sunrise Amphitheater is a popular small wedding ceremony site because of it’s views from Flagstaff Mountain that overlook Boulder, as well as its unique stone amphitheater. For larger weddings, you can seat your guests in the amphitheater, but if you’re having a more intimate ceremony, set chairs up right against the stage so that everyone feels close together.

  • Stone Shelter very close to to both Sunrise Amphitheater and Halfway House, which makes it a great outdoor reception option after your ceremony at one of the other locations, or you can have your ceremony right there. Stone Shelter offers a large picnic area surrounded by trees. And if you peek through the trees, you have views overlooking Boulder.
