From start to finish, working with Lisa and Alex was incredibly easy and stress-free. They truly are an investment!

Before the wedding, their planning process was one of the most organized and thoughtful experiences we’ve had. Communication was excellent throughout, and their planning guide was especially helpful for Type-A personalities like myself. It covered everything from outfit considerations and vow-writing tips to vendor recommendations. During the brainstorming process, we gave them our wishlist, and they curated location options that matched exactly (or as close as possible) to what we were looking for. They considered factors such as driving distance, hike difficulty, vehicle requirements, permits, and even whether a location was dog-friendly. They also provided sample photos from the season so we could better visualize each location. Because we were visiting multiple spots, they created and managed a detailed timeline, which allowed us to simply enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics.

As our date approached, there were concerns about potential wildfire impacts. Lisa and Alex stayed in close contact, helped us think through backup plans, and made sure we felt prepared if we needed to pivot. Their calm and proactive approach put us completely at ease.

On the day of our elopement, our biggest priority was having an adventure with just the two of us and our dog. The whole reason we chose to elope was to avoid being surrounded by people, answering endless questions, or feeling like our day was being directed solely for the sake of photos. Lisa and Alex completely understood that. They were easygoing, flexible, and never pushy. At one point the weather became chilly and rainy, and they were more than happy to pause, warm up, and adjust plans as needed while still capturing beautiful moments. My now-husband is a very private person, and he especially appreciated never feeling like he was being told how to act or pose. The day genuinely felt like we were hiking with our dog, enjoying the scenery, and experiencing an adventure together while wearing wedding clothes.

The turnaround time was also amazing. We received sneak peeks, our full gallery, and our highlight trailer well ahead of schedule. We absolutely love the final result. One of the reasons we chose Lisa and Alex was their editing style, and they delivered exactly what we hoped for. The colors felt natural and true to what we experienced rather than heavily altered. Because we chose to elope in the mountains, preserving the beauty of the landscape was important to us, and the photos captured that perfectly. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day, and our family and friends have told us that the photos and video made them feel like they were right there with us.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Lisa and Alex to anyone looking for photographers who care just as much about the experience as they do the final images.
