Estes Park Hiking Elopement in Hidden Valley
Sunrise Hiking Elopement in Estes Park
Bepasha + David
Both Bepasha and David have a love for fountain pens. In fact, the first time they crossed paths was during a pen convention in Texas. At the time, David was working at the convention and gave Bepasha terrible customer service. It turns out that at the time, he was just temporarily covering a friend’s booth when Bepasha approached him, but Bepasha walked away thinking he was a real jerk.
Fast forward, they both matched on a dating app. Fortunately, David redeemed himself and they connected over their love for coffee, music, and the outdoors. Then a week later, in March of 2020, the world shut down. They continued their relationship with outdoor dates at the park and eventually got engaged a year and a half later.
Bepasha and David are both introverted and feel uncomfortable with the idea of so much attention focused on them, so they decided to elope in Colorado with a small group of guests. They ended up falling in love with Estes Park and planned a sunrise elopement day in Rocky Mountain National Park.
On the morning of their elopement, we met at the trailhead under the moonlight. We hiked up the short but steep trail. They changed into their wedding attire and then exchanged vows at sunrise. After, they laid out a blanket and drank coffee while they looked at photos and read old letters they had written to each other.
Next, it was time to celebrate with their families. We drove to Hidden Valley in Rocky Mountain National Park for a ceremony officiated by Bepasha’s best friend. After some tears and lots of hugs, everyone headed to the picnic shelter for lunch, speeches, and cake. It was the wedding day that Bepasha and David dreamed of, stress-free, full of beautiful mountains, quality time, and the people that mean the most to them.
This elopement took place on Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Land.
