Alpine Lake and Mountaintop Elopement in RMNP

Sunrise to Sunset Elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park

Brooke + Christian

    • Package:

    • Elopement without Guests:

      • B + C eloped without guests. This allowed them to prioritize themselves and their desires. They started their day before sunrise and ended after sunset.

    • Location:

    • Land Acknowledgement:

      • This elopement took place on the traditional territory of the Núu-agha-tuvu-pu (Ute), Tséstho’e (Cheyenne), and Hinono’eino’ biito’owu’ (Arapaho) nations.

Brooke and Christian first fell in love in college. But when Brooke moved to a different state with her family, they ended up separating, both moving on with their separate lives. To Christian, Brooke was always the one who got away. Years later, a Facebook comment sparked a conversation that never ended.

Since they both lived across the country from each other, they planned a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park to reconnect. And now, two decades after they first fell in love, they returned to Estes Park to get married.

They packed so much adventure into their elopement day! A sunrise hike to an alpine lake and a waterfall, a ceremony at Sprague Lake, a picnic of homemade pizza in a meadow, their favorite competitive board game in the forest, and finally sunset on a mountaintop.
