We’ll recommend the perfect locations (and backup locations) to fit your vision, your guest count, the activities you’d like you do, and the kind of locations you’re comfortable getting to (hiking isn’t necessary to have an amazing elopement day).

Why You Should Elope in Ouray
1. Incredible Mountain Views
There is a ton of variation in the mountains near Ouray. From red mountains (yes, they’re actually red), to towering rocky peaks, and sharp spires. Once you see the San Juan Mountains, you’ll compare every other mountain you see to them.

There is no better part of Colorado to explore waterfalls on your elopement day. Choose between 6 waterfalls, each with their own unique look.
3. Best Off-Road Trails in Colorado
If you imagine hopping in a Jeep and heading up a bumpy dirt road, the San Juan Mountains are for you. Here, you’ll be able to access some incredible and remote spaces without doing any hiking!
