The park’s main draw is its enormous gorge and unique rock formations, it’s a great place for hikers and rock climbers.

Ridgway State Park - near Ridgway

    • We may be a tiny bit biased because of our love for the town of Ridgway, but Ridgway State Park is the perfect space for a budget-friendly ceremony and reception in the Ouray-area. Have your ceremony on their wedding deck that sits high above the Ridgway Reservoir and have views of the Sneffels Range in the background. If you’re looking for one of the nicest picnic pavilions we’ve ever been to, consider one (or both) of their picnic shelters in the Pa-Co-Chu-Puk area of the park. They sit right along the Uncompahgre River and are both beautiful and peaceful.

Eureka Lodge - near Silverton

    • If you’re looking to give your guests an adventure, Eureka Lodge is a great option for your small wedding. The Lodge is located almost an hour outside of Silverton, up the off-road trail to the famous Animas Forks ghost town. It’s full of history as it was originally built in the 1920s as a boarding hotel for miners. Today, it’s been converted into a rustic, outdoor wedding venue with beautiful views of the Animas River and the surrounding mountains.

Aldasoro Weddings - near Telluride

  • Venue Style: Mountain views, tented, aspen grove

    • If you’re planning a small wedding during the fall, we can’t think of a better place for it. It is located on the Telluride-side of Last Dollar Road, and offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains, many of which are covered in aspen trees. Have you ceremony along the edge of the mountain and then walk back up to a tented reception.

San Sophia Overlook - near Telluride

    • This is quite possibly the most iconic ceremony site in all of the San Juan Mountains. Located in Telluride Ski Resort at the top of the free gondola that connects Telluride to Mountain Village, San Sophia Overlook has some of the most incredible mountain views.

    • Palmyra Lookout is Telluride Ski Resort’s newest wedding ceremony venue. Because of its location, it is only available between mid-June and the end of September. The ceremony site is stunning and surrounded by trees and mountain views.

Mountain Lodge Telluride - near Telluride

    • Mountain Lodge Telluride has always been our go-to hotel to stay at in Mountain Village. It’s only a short walk from the free gondola and has a really great restaurant. Mountain Lodge Telluride has a few different spaces available for events depending on your vision and budget.
