We’re Lisa + Alex

We are a husband and wife elopement photography and videography team based in Colorado.

Over the last 10 years, we’ve worked with couples in 13 different states and 8 different countries. But our favorite place to capture elopements is in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.

The San Juan Mountains are rugged with diverse landscapes. Enjoy jagged mountaintops, bright blue alpine lakes, lush forests, wildflower meadows, and powerful waterfalls.

Eloping in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains

The geologically “young” mountains in the region often have sharper peaks and steeper slopes than many other regions of the state. For this reason, it’s our favorite place to elope in the entire state.

You should elope in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado if…

  • You crave an adventurous elopement day filled with driving Jeeps on 4WD trails, standing on mountaintops, and exploring waterfalls. If driving on off-road trails doesn’t excite you, then this is not the elopement location for you.

  • You are open to having a minimum of 8 hours of coverage.

  • You are up for starting your elopement day before sunrise and/or ending the day after sunset.

  • You aren’t too afraid of heights.
