Tasmania was always one of those places we figured we would never get the chance to visit. In fact, only about 3% of Australia's foreign visitors even travel to the island state each year. After traveling around the island for a week, we think this is a total bummer. Tasmania has so much to offer!

From pristine white-sand beaches to towering seaside cliffs, to waterfalls, to mountains, to rainforests, Tasmania has it all. And if you love to hike, well you're in luck. We rented a campervan and explored the island, stopping in small campgrounds and hiking every day. We cooked our own meals on our camp stove and slept under the brightest stars we have ever seen.
