Hiking Engagement Session in Breckenridge

Catie + Haleigh

We’ve known Catie for a few years and we saw her relationship blossom with Haleigh through their many fun and adventurous posts on social media. Earlier this year, Catie messaged us about them coming out to Colorado for an adventure session that summer. They had been talking about getting engaged, but it hadn’t officially happened yet. We picked a location and planned to meet at the trailhead just before sunrise.

The day before the adventure session, Catie texted us using the ring emoji and we immediately knew that they had gotten engaged that day! So what was originally planned to be a fun and casual adventure session quickly became an engagement session! We couldn’t be happier!

We all started the hike with a bit of extra pep in our step, climbing to an elevation above 12,000 feet. We explored a mountaintop, waded in an alpine lake, and spent time talking and laughing. It was such a perfect morning and we’re so glad we could spend it with Catie and Haleigh!

This adventure session took place on Ute Land.
